Mahama meets drivers, traders in Accra ahead of Easter

- John Mahama will be on a campaign to advise drivers, traders and commuters to travel safely during Easter

- The NDC presidential candidate for elections 2020 hopes to unseat President Akufo-Addo

National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Mahama is today, April 18, 2019 visiting parts of Accra to interact with drivers, commuters and traders.

The purpose of the visit, according to a statement, is to “wish them well for the Easter festivities” which fall on Friday, April 19, 2019.

Areas the former president is expected to visit are Accra Tudu lorry terminal and pedestrian markets, Kaneshie lorry terminal and Market complex and Nkrumah Circle lorry terminal and pedestrian market.

Mahama had already made similar call on the Central region and the Volta region.

The former president is eyeing a comeback after losing the 2016 elections to incumbent Nana Akufo-Addo.
