Per a Myjoyonline.com report, members of both groups have been demanding control of the tourist site that was renovated and reopened in November 2017.

However, angry youths besieged the police station armed with stones, cudgels and demanded the release of the suspects. Tension brewed and one of the leaders blocked the entrance of the police station with a vehicle and timber logs.
