YEN.com.gh has gathered that the former NADMO boss, Major General Francis Vib-Sanziri, has died in Israel.
He was the Head of Mission and Force Commander of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF).
Vib-Sanziri had been at post in Israel since he was appointed in 2017.

He sadly passed away on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, after a short illness, according to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on 3news.com.
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo has paid a heartfelt tribute to the lost soul, describing him as a fine, dedicated, and professional military officer.
“I am saddened by the news of the sudden death of Major General Francis Vib-Sanziri. My heartfelt condolences to his widow, Commissioner of Police Beatrice Vib-Sanziri, to his children and family”.
“…to the Minister for Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, officers, men and women of the Ghana Armed Forces, and to UN Secretary General António Guterres, and members of UNDOF,” the president said in a statement.
“Our nation has lost a fine, dedicated, professional military officer, who served his country and the global community with distinction. His was, certainly, a distinguished military career,” Akufo-Addo decried.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced by the family.
