Yaa Naa congratulates Asantehene on his 20th anniversary

- Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II has congratulated the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on his 20th anniversary

- He also extended greetings from the people of Dagbon to the Asante kingdom for the role of their leader in bringing peace to Dagbon

The overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II, has sent a message to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as he celebrates 20 years as the leader of the Asante kingdom.

The message began with greetings from the people of Dagbon as well as a recognition of the Asantehene’s effort in bringing peace to Dagbon.

The Yaa Naa went ahead to remind himself of his pledge to commit the rest of his active life, be it long or short, to unite Dagbon and work towards everlasting peace, progress and prosperity for the people.

He also expressed his desire to rule over a kingdom united in peace with itself and its neighbours, and blossoming in happiness and progress.

According to a Graphic.com.gh report, the Yaa Naa went ahead to plead for the Asantehene’s readiness to provide the people of Dagbon with his invaluable support and wise counsel.

He added that the Asante royal family and the people of Asante should feel proud that their King, because of his wisdom, steadfastness, tact and diplomacy, was made clear when he was tasked with the role of chairman of the mediation committee to restore peace to Dagbon.

In the Yaa Naa’s opinion, he successfully accomplished the mission to the admiration of the people of Dagbon and Ghana.
