Ghanaians celebrate Chief Imam as he turns 100 years

Vice president, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia as part of the 100th birthday celebrations of the National Chief Imam, joined him and several others at the National mosque to thank Allah for his special grace

The special thanksgiving prayer was to thank the Almighty Allah for the blessings He has bestowed on the National Chief Imam, who turns 100 on Tuesday April 23.

Ghanaians, both Christians and Muslims have sent their good will messages to the Chief Imam, asking God to bless him with good health.

Awudu prayed for glorious years ahead for the Chief Imam.

Suzette prayed that the Chief Imam continued to age gracefully.
