Shatta Wale praises Chief Imam for attending church ahead of 100th birthday

- Shatta Wale has praised Chief Imam Nuhu Sharabutu for being a peacful man

- This follows the emergence of photos of Sharabutu worshipping with Christians in a church

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has showered praises on National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu after photos of the eminent Muslim leader worshipping in a Christian church on Sunday, April 21, 2019.

Sheikh Sharabutu, ahead of his 100th birthday celebration on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, joined worshippers at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra to mark Easter Sunday.

Impressed with the national Chief Imam's move, Shatta Wale took to social media to share a photo of the visit.

Shatta Wale who described the Sheikh Sharabutu as a true son of Abraham asked God to bless him for his shining example.

"Ghana's Chief Imam at Christ the King Church, Accra to celebrate his 100th birthday. A true son of Abraham!! God Bless him for his shining example. Allahu Arkbar," Shatta wrote.

Sheikh Sharabutu did not visit the church alone as he had a full delegation with him.

Shatta Wale is not the only Ghanaian to have been impressed with the visit as many others have taken to social media to shower their own praises.

Last Friday, April 19, Dr Sharabutu was joined by the Vice President, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and fellow Muslims at the Central Mosque in Abossey Okai for Jummah prayers and a special thanksgiving prayer.
