‘I intend to live up to 120 years – Nana Konadu

- The former first lady says she hopes to grow up to 120-years-old

Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, has said that she intends to live up to 120 years on earth.

According to her, she loves to feel young and has already informed her husband that she intends to live for more than a century on earth.

The former First Lady was speaking at the Glitz Women of the Year Honours held April 13, 2019, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

“I love to stay young all the time. I have told my husband that I am not living less than 120 years,” she is quoted as saying by GBCGhana.com.

She said she has a deliberate plan that she pursues every day to help her achieve her aim of living long.

Currently 70, Nana Konadu is the wife of Ghana’s first president in the Fourth Republic, Jerry John Rawlings.

The couple are blessed with four lovely children, with one of them in active politics and currently MP for Korle Klottey, Zenator Rawlings.

Nana Konadu was honoured with the Ayekoo Award during the Glitz Women of the Year Honours.
