Ghanaians think Akufo-Addo can’t save Ghana

- Some Ghanaians on social media think Akufo-Addo is the worse president of the fourth republic

- This is contrary to what his deputy transport minister, Titus Glover thinks

Deputy Minister for Transport, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has declared President Akufo-Addo a messianic gift from God to Ghanaians.

According to him, Nana Addo is the only latter-day Ghanaian leader who can save and transform the country.

He pointed to the Free SHS policy as an achievement which no president in the Fourth Republic managed to implement until Akufo-Addo assumed office.

All leaders, who preceded President Akufo-Addo in the Fourth Republic acknowledged the fact that Education is key and ought to be free, but only Nana Addo had the courage to implement Free SHS,” he said.

Mr. Glover’s comments seem to have sparked a series of responses from Ghanaians on social media.

While some agreed with the deputy Transport Minister, others held that he was only exaggerating the president’s achievements.

There was also a third party who believe Mr. Glover’s comments are not a true reflection of Akufo-Addo’s performance.
