Nigerian lady gets married to US-based husband via video call (photos)

A Twitter user has treated members of the online community to the unusual love story of how his cousin got married to the love of her life via a mobile video call.

The man identified as Bodexng, shared the news of his family member’s wedding on popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

According to him, the groom-to-be, who is based in the United States of America (USA), could not make his way down to Nigeria before the day set aside for the wedding ceremony.

Instead of letting the distance and delay get in the way of their holy solemnization, the couple decided to improvise by taking advantage of technology.

The two got on their mobile devices and exchanged their vows through a video call.

Sharing the post, Bodexng said: “This is true love as my pretty cousin got married two days ago to the love of her life through video call because her husband stays in the USA and couldn't make it back for his own wedding.”
