NDC UK-Ireland women organiser, Louisa Nelson, dead

YEN.com.gh has come across reports that indicates that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Women Organiser for UK-Ireland, Louisa Nelson, is dead.

Details about the cause of death remain sketchy but according to family sources, she died on the morning of Sunday April 28, 2019 after a short ailment.

This makes the second death in the NDC reported in just one day.

Tributes have since been pouring in for the late NDC executive who before her demise played a key role for the re-election of former president John Dramani Mahama as flagbearer of the party ahead of the 2020 polls.

Meanwhile, information available to YEN.com.gh suggests that a former branch chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has committed suicide.

The deceased, James Nudutor, was the branch chairman for the Ghanatta “B” polling station in the Suhum constituency.

Per an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, his lifeless body was founding hanging from a tied rope, on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
