A United States teenager is gaining worldwide recognition after she was accepted into 115 colleges across the country and offered scholarships with a combined worth of about $3.7 million.
Antoinette Love, 18, is now the new kid on the international education block after she was accepted into 115 tertiary institutions in the US and granted scholarships amounting to about $3.7 million or GHC 19.2 million.
Love plans to major in elementary education after joining the ranks of one of the people accepted by the most colleges with the most financial offers in the history of the US, or the world for that matter.
Love maintained a 3.5 GPA score and has attended dual enrolment at Delgado Community College for two semesters.
According to Theadvocate.com, she is interested in attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and applied to 50 of such schools.

Commenting on her good luck, Love was quoted as saying:“This really is a dream come true. All my hours of studying, writing and classes have paid off in the best possible way, and I can’t wait to move forward and start my college education.”
“I started applying in September, and just kept applying and applying until my tiny mailbox at home was suddenly overflowing with letter after letter and dozens of scholarship offers,”

Indeed, Love is not the only student from her school to amass such number of schools and scholarships. Last year, Darrin Francois was accepted into 91 colleges and got offered more than $2.8 million in scholarships.
