- Lil Win's brother, Apuzo Lele, has revealed why the actor dropped out of school
- According to Apuzo Lele, Lil Win was weak in academics and got repeated
It is no secret that Kumawood actor turned singer, Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lil Win did not have much of formal education.
Lil Win himself has on countless occasions revealed that he revealed that he did not even complete basic school.
While this admission has often been heard from the actor, the real reason why he dropped out of school has never really been told, at least until now.
A brother to Lil Win who claims to be the ninth born while Lil Win is the 10th of their mother has disclosed that the actor stopped schooling because he (Lil Win) was not clever enough.
According to Lil Win's brother who goes by the name Apuzo Lele, the actor was repeated in class six at the Kwamang L/A Primary school in the Ashanti region for his weak academic performance but he insisted on going to the next class (JSS1).
This was due to the fact Lil Win could not stand being teased by his mates who were going to be his seniors and after being resisted from going to the next class, he decided to stop schooling entirely.
While going to JSS1 he came last but one in class and had to be repeated but he could not stand it so he dropped out," Apuzo Lele stated in a video interview sighted by YEN.com.gh.
It is interesting to note that despite his inability to complete school, Lil Win is so much interested in educating young ones that he has established a preparatory school, Great Minds International School, at Offinso Ahenkro.
Great has been Lil Win's efforts with his school that he was recently adjudged as the Most Promising Proprietor of the Year at the maiden edition of the National Private School Awards.
