Abronye DC descends on Mahama; describes him as a hypocrite

- NPP's Abronye DC has described John Dramani Mahama as a hypocrite

- According to him, about 181 Ghanaians were kidnapped during Mahama's tenure as president

- Abronye DC added that President Akufo-Addo's administration had strengthened Ghana's security system

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman for the newly-created Bono region, Kwame Baffoe, has described former president John Mahama as a hypocrite.

According to him, Mahama acted hypocritically when he sounded a word of caution about the state of Ghana’s security.

Mahama, during the 2019 May Day celebration, assessed the Akufo-Addo-led government and faulted it for the unprecedented insecurity in the country.

The situation, he went on, was ultimately causing a major threat to foreign and domestic investors in the country’s economy.

Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC, speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, said Mahama has no credibility to talk about the issue of security in the country.

He explained that between 2012 and 2014, about 181 Ghanaians were kidnapped under the regime of former President Mahama, and nothing was heard of them.

According to Peacefmonline.com, Abronye asserted that Mahama is trying everything possible to cover up all his kidnapped cases to make his government appear good in the eyes of Ghanaians.

Abronye DC, however, congratulated President Akufo-Addo's administration for the good work done in putting measures in place to strengthen the security in the country.

He also asked Ghanaians to rise up and vote massively against Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2020 elections.
