The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcomed a baby boy.
Father of the newborn baby boy announced the news in the afternoon.
In an Instagram post sighted by YEN.com.gh, it was confirmed that the mother and the baby are doing brilliantly fine.
It was gathered that the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, reportedly went into labour at the early hours of Monday, May 6, 2019.
According to a Daily Mirror report seen by YEN.com.gh, the Buckingham Palace confirmed the news in the afternoon that the Duchess went into labour with the Duke by her side.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first born child will be the seventh-in-line to the throne.
The announcement has received massive reactions from people the world over.
For instance, an Instagram user, Michelle was excited for two reasons; the other being that the baby came on the birthday of her own relative:

Unlike the normal royal tradition, the royal couple chose to keep the fact details about the birth of their first child secret.
Which means details about whether the baby would be born at home or in the hospital is not revealed to the public.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had reportedly broken the news that they were expecting a child to the Queen and the rest of the royal family at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday, October 12, 2018.
