Asantehene and his wife dance to Amakye Dede's song at World Meets in Ghana dinner (video)

The World Meets in Ghana Investors executive dinner ball was held at the Manhyia Palace Kumasi on Friday, May 3, 2019.

The dinner organised under the auspices of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, saw veteran highlife musician, Amakye Dede taking the floor to entertain patrons.

So good was Amakye Dede's performance that it got the Asantehene and his wife, Lady Julia, to get on the dancefloor.

In a video from the executive ball sighted by YEN.com.gh, Otumfuo Osei Tutu wore a black tuxedo over white shirt with a black bow tie while Lady Julia wore a black and white ball gown.

The royal couple were gingered by Amakye Dede's performance as he played his popular Akwaada Wesoa hit song.

The forum, which was one of the principal events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the enstoolment of the Asantehene, was aimed at attracting investment to Asanteman and beyond.

The E ON 3 Group, headed by a young Ghanaian entrepreneur, Mr Richard Ofori Atta, affectionately known in business circles as ‘Tom, Tom’, and the Manhyia Palace, the official seat of the Asantehene, organised the two-day event with support from the Ministry of Finance, the Ghana Investment Promotions Centre and other partner agencies.
