Jesus did not loot from the people; stop comparing Mahama to him

Ghanaians on social media have reacted to Kofi Adams’ comment that John Mahama will resurrect again like Jesus Christ.

The former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said he is confident that Mahama will be re-elected president in 2020.

According to him, Mahama will rise again like Jesus Christ did after he was crucified by the people he served.

When Jesus Christ came to this earth, he healed the sick, fed those who were hungry and did many things for the needy and mankind including signs and wonders, but later what happened to him?

“They despised and crucified him when the time came. But he rose again, and in such like manner will ex-President Mahama be president again,” he told Accra-based Okay FM.

Mr. Adams’ religious comments have, however, been dissected by a section of Ghanaians on social media.

Whilst some supported his claims that Mahama will return to the presidency in 2020, others made mockery of his comments.

Asamoah says Mr. Adams should not compare Mahama to Adams.

Kwaku says Mahama has had his chance already.

Godfred says Mahama has been likened to everyone.

Amo says Mahama will not come back to power.
