Ghana’s Black Queens are set to take off to Cote d’Ivoire in anticpation to defend their West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B title.

Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo’s 20-woman squad features U-17 sensation, Mukarama Abdullai and Ampem Darkoa , who will lead the team and midfielder Grace Asantewaa.
The Queens won the title in February 2018 after beating this year’s hosts 1-0 in the final.
The Black Queens were drawn in Group B alongside Guinea, Mali and Nigeria.
Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Senegal were drawn in Group A.
The competition is slated to take place from 8-19 May, 2019.
