Ursula Owusu reveals her three topmost musicians in Ghana

Ghana's minister for communication, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has revealed her three most favorite musicians.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has named three Ghanaian artistes that come top as her most favorite artistes.

According to the minister, even though she is older, she enjoys both old and new genres of music.

In an interview with Accra-based radio station Citi FM, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful expressed her love for music.

She disclosed that highlife music is her favorite genre of music as she mentioned her three most favorite highlife musicians.

The minister noted that three popular highlife artistes Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede are her favorites.

She explained that she appreciates the depth of the lyrical content and the rhythms of songs by these musicians.

It was an interesting moment when the minister who is also the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency expressed her love for new genres of music too.

She disclosed that she does not only listen to the old musicians but also listens to some of the new artistes.

According to Ursula Owusu, King Promise, Kuami Eugene and Bisa Kdei are her three top favorite artistes.

She stressed that songs of the three young artistes are ones that have made it to her playlist since she enjoys them.

However, she stated that she is very choosy about what type of rap music she listens to because most of them do not make sense.

As someone who grew up listening to what she calls ‘mood music’ she expressed her fondness for songs by foreign musicians such as John Legend, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

Meanwhile another politician Gloria Akuffo was in the news recently after she disclosed that she is still single and searching.

According to Ghana's Attorney General Gloria Akuffo, she had never been married but had her children with “other people’s husbands".

She believes that she is currently ready for marriage, however, she has not been found by her Mr. Right, or better still, she has not found him yet.
