- Some Ghanaians have slammed Yvonne Nelson for saying Ghanaians are suffering while politicians enjoy
- The NDC fans especially have said she was part of choosing the Akufo-Addo government and so she lacked the moral right to complain
- Yvonne has taken on the government on certain issues for some time now
Some NDC supporters have descended on actress Yvonne Nelson for complaining about the standard of living under the current government.
These supporters believe that Yvonne was part of whatever hardship Ghanaians are going through, therefore, she has no right to complain.
Their comments come on the heels of Nelson’s complaints that Ghanaians were suffering while politicians enjoyed.
According to her, the standard of living for the ordinary Ghanaian has become so high that basic social amenities were not readily available.
The actress disclosed that the Ghana Water Company Limited was charging an exorbitant fee of GHC16,000 to connect water to her house and those of her neighbours.
However, despite some hailing Yvonne for voicing out her frustrations, others, the NDC supporters, have disagreed with her.
Smith, for instance, believes Yvonne championed the change for the NPP government to be in power:
Clement also said Yvonne Nelson’s frustration is the reward for campaigning against former president Mahama and the NDC:
Mark was of the view that Yvonne had forgotten that she campaigned against Mahama:
Ephraim mocked Yvonne
Miranda accused Yvonne of taking part in creating the mess:
Okumo wondered if Yvonne was planning a vigil
Meanwhile, Yvonne Nelson had earlier been in the news for threatening a demonstration against Akufo-Addo over dumsor.
