Ghanaians express varying opinions on Obinim’s freemason comment

Ghanaians on social media have reacted to Bishop Daniel Obinim’s comment that freemasonry is the secret to long life.

He revealed in a video that the secret to long life is to be a member of fraternities such as “cults, brotherhoods, sisterhoods, Freemasonry and others”.

According to him, many can attest to the fact that persons in such fraternities live long before they die.

Obinim, who is the founder of the International God’s Way Church, made the comment during one of his church services.

He said, unlike Christians and other religions who pass on early in life, people who engage in freemasonry live longer on earth.

The pastor’s comments have sparked controversy on social media among a section of Ghanaians.

While some condemned the comments outright, there were others who seemed to agree with the controversial preacher.
