“If the radio station has been shut down for reasons of authorisation and it can be demonstrated that there are no other radio stations that fall in the same bracket but have not been shut down then I don’t think that there is a problem,” he told JoyNews

The National Communications Authority (NCA) on Thursday, May 10, 2019, closed two radio stations in Accra for defaulting in renewing their licenses.

The two radio stations, Radio Gold and Radio XYZ, are both known to be affiliated to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
