Maame Tiwaa should be ready to leave office when NDC comes to power - Sammy Gyamfi

- NDC's Sammy Gyamfi has threatened to cut short the career of CID boss

- According to him, the CID boss should be ready to pack her bags when the NDC comes into power

The National Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has said the Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department [CID], COP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah's police career would soon be cut short.

He insisted the CID boss should be ready to pack her luggage and leave post the very day NPP leaves office because the NDC government would not entertain her one minute.

He made this known on Adom FM’s 'Mpensenpensenmu' panel discussion programme Thursday, May 9, 2019.

“COP Tiwaah should be ready at any time to leave office as soon as NPP loses election because no NDC government will ever entertain her,” he stressed.

He continued that the NDC as a party is not afraid of any police arrest but will not make their Chairman appear before the CID boss.

“What is COP Tiwaa taking from the NDC National Chairman, she should tell us . . . look members of the NDC cannot be cowards, Tiwaa came to meet the NDC party and will again leave power, but NDC will still remain.

The only thing she is succeeding in doing now is to cut short her career as a police woman because she has made us aware that she is no more serving Ghana as a nation, but NPP as a party,” he said.
