Victor Eghan, a Ghanaian preacher, claims that those who watch the worldwide acclaimed Game of Thrones series would not make it to heaven.
YEN.com.gh has chanced upon reports that hold that a budding Christian preacher, Victor Eghan, believes that enthusiasts of the famous Game of Thrones television series are going to hell.
In the report initially carried by Celebritiesbuzz.com, Eghan claimed that "If you’re so attached to Game of Thrones that you’re getting angry with me, then who are you worshipping? GOD or GOT? One letter makes a big difference. And that one letter change can make a big difference when you stand before GOD on that day"
The above statement was after he had tapped into the fury of some on social media who decried his submission that the show was unchristian.
Eghan was unrelenting, stating what he claimed were facts from the show.
He wrote via Facebook: "865 deaths. 144 scenes of naked people (with 83.7% being women)"
Dear Christian and Game of Thrones fan, is this the kind of content you want to fill your mind with? What happened to Philippians 4:8? Is this the kind of things you want your daughter or son to engage in?
If you’re so attached to Game of Thrones that you’re getting angry with me, then who are you worshipping? GOD or GOT? One letter makes a big difference. And that one letter change can make a big difference when you stand before GOD on that day.
It is not clear if many actually fear the doom being preached by the pastor. Game of Thrones is loved my thousands of Ghanaians, some who identify as practising Christians.
Meanwhile, Adom FM morning show host Captain Smart has paid a visit to Reverend Obofour's Anointed Palace Chapel.
And not only did Captain Smart just visit but took the microphone to lead the church in singing praises to God on the day.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Obofour was seen sitting in a couch on the altar of his church as spoke to the congregation.
