Popular dancehall musician Shatta Wale known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah has set an enviable record at the just ended VGMA Xperience Concert.

Shatta Wale wowed music lovers as he set an enviable record at the just ended VGMA Xperience Concert on Saturday, May 11, 2019.

According to a report by GHbase.com, the self-proclaiming king of African dancehall performed a total of 58 songs.

In the report, a total of 58 song titles by Shatta Wale were listed to detail the songs that he performed.

Songs like 'Kakai', 'If I Collect', 'Korlegono', 'Obordobidi', 'Dancehall King', 'Enter The Net', 'Kpuu Kpaa', 'Bie Gya', 'Mahama Paper', 'Reality' among others were performed by Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale who is regarded as undoubtedly Ghana's most popular musician thrilled fans to his numerous hit songs.

In response, music lovers who thronged the Independence Square cheered and jammed while he performed.

The about 58 songs performed by the 'Gringo' hitmaker is somewhat a record since no other artiste has ever performed similar number of songs at a show.

The Shatta Movement boss is known to be one of Ghana's musicians who releases the most songs.

Since 2013 when Shatta Wale came back into the limelight with his single 'Dancehall King', he has been releasing numerous songs.

There were times that the 'My Level' hitmaker could release about four songs in a day, something no musician has done.

Shatta Wale together with Samini, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Tinny, Empress Gifty among others thrilled fans at the 2019 VGMA Xperience Concert.

Over 10,000 music lovers thronged the Independence Square in Accra to see their favorite artistes perform.

The mega concert was staged as the pre-event concert towards the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night slated for May 18, 2019 at the Accra International Conference Center.

Musicians, music industry players and Ghanaians in general are awaiting the much anticipated yearly event which seeks to reward hard working musicians.
