Ofori- Atta jabbed for saying Ghanaians are doing better under Akufo-Addo

The finance minister, Ken Ofori-Attta in his assessment of the Akufo-Addo-led government has said government have implemented many interventions to mitigate the difficulties of Ghanaians.

He said the interventions were by no means out of the woods yet, as too many citizens were struggling to make ends meet.

Speaking at a Danquah Institute Economic Forum, Mr Ofori-Atta said one could sometimes easily be misled into believing that Ghana is worse off today than it was yesterday.

For him, “The economy is in a healthier shape today than it was yesterday”.

People have reacted to the comments by the Finance minister, as most of them do not agree with the assertion.

Johnny said it seemed the finance minister was living in a different country.

Godsway said it was only his family members who were better off under Akufo-Addo.

Daniel compared fuel prices under Akufo-Addo and Mahama. He said the minister was obviously not speaking the truth.

Moses said the NPP has less than 2years to vacate their post.

Dave said he would later come back to deny what he has said just like the CID boss.
