- Man United are scheduled to undergo a summer overhaul after a disappointing campaign
- Solskjaer is seeking to offload a number of players during the transfer window
- Martial is one of the star players earmarked for sale by the Norwegian
Manchester United co-chair, Joel Glazer, has reportedly overruled Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans to offload Anthony Martial in the summer.
Martial had a below par Premier League campaign in the just concluded season, managing just 10 goals and two assists.
His lack of focus and commitment during training sessions has further left Solskjaer fuming, leading to his earmarking for sale when the transfer window opens.
The 23-year-old was also at loggerheads with former boss, Jose Mourinho, before his sacking in December 2018, but United executive vice-chair Ed Woodward and Joel Glazer reportedly declined the star forward would not be sold.
According to fresh reports, Glazer has once again stepped in to veto Martial's possible exit, with the United co-chair rating the Frenchman as club's Pele.
Martial, who joined United four years ago from Monaco, has only managed three goals in all competitions for the Red Devils since the turn of the year.
Meanwhile, having endured a woeful campaign in the latter stages of the season, Solskjaer is preparing to overhaul his squad ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
Meanwhile, Yen.com.gh had reported that Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard, was reportedly in line to replace Maurizio Sarri as manager at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard has had a successful debut in football management, and is on the verge of guiding Derby County to Premier League promotion.
