When she tried to run for her life, the man is said to have pursued and shot at her twice. According to the police, Jenifer died on the spot. The shooting took place in Maryland, USA, at about 5.00pm.
According to a report by the police, the forty-four-year-old had ended her day from her office in 6300 blocks along Ivy Lane and was headed to her car, before the assassin came towards her. She tried to run for her life, but could not escape since the killer caught up with her and shot her in cold blood.
The police have began investigations in a bid to get hold of the murder whom they described as ‘a black male, who is well built and has black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.’
There are speculations that the ex-husband of the late, who is in jail could be linked to the murder. Bettie’s ex-husband is said to have been a drug load.
The news of his wife’s death got to Chris when he was in the middle of a shoot for a movie in Los Angeles. The news sparked pain in him, and so, he flew to Maryland, to ascertain whether what he had heard was true. He then went silent about the issue, until on 12th May, when he posted on his Twitter. Chris’ career started when Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM), his icon, starred him in one of the TV series called ‘Choices’, where he acted alongside Shirley Frimpong-Manso. His acting career flourished when he landed the role of Kwame Mensah in another series called Tinsel. This role grew him fame beyond Africa. His most significant break happened when he landed a role as Nii, in Shuga, a show by MTV, which focuses on creating awareness about HIV/AIDS.
