Controversial dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has opened up about how his musical career took a nose dive.
Shatta Wale has revealed how he had to change his stage name in order to become relevant in the entertainment industry.
The award-winning singer has taken to his Facebook page to share his grass to grace journey.
Shatta Wale, who was previously known as Bandana, has stressed since bouncing back after changing his name, he is the most hard working artiste currently.
He also said that, since 2010 he has been releasing mind-blowing songs.
Shatta Wale further indicated that if a musician hasn’t been on a journey likes his, that musician shouldn't come and compete with him.
The Ayoo hitmaker also added, he is not ready to battle for what is rightly his but rather shared his story to motivate others.
Shatta Wale’s statement was to affirm that he deserves to win the VGMA Artiste of the Decade award.
The 2019 VGMA Awards will come off on May 18, 2019, at the Accra International Conference Center.
