Ivor Kobina Greenstreet represents Ghana at shooting competition for the handicapped

The 2016 flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet participated in an international Para shooting competition in Italy in the second week of May 2019.

In a Facebook post, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet showed photos of himself participating in the annual International Grand Prix Para Trap on behalf of Ghana in Italy.

The Black Sniper, as the 2016 Convention People's Party (CPP) refers to himself, showed a number of pictures and footage of the contest.

The event in Italy was one of series of pre-qualification events for the world championships in Australia, Sydney later this year, 2019.

Citinewsroom.com reports that In an interview, with the lawyer who is also General Secretary of the Ghana Shooting Sports Federation stated that he intends to collaborate with international contacts to encourage more Ghanaians youth to take part in shooting sports.

In another news, while conventionally, driving is known as something we do with both our feet and hands but in a new feature sighted by YEN.com.gh, some men in Ghana have come to be known as limbless drivers.

These persons with disabilities in the legs in Ghana are now driving, accelerating and hitting the brakes all with the use of their hands, according to a Starrfm.com.gh report.

Johnson Nyamekye, one of such men, is a project manager with the Jachie Training School, for the disabled. Nyamekye drives a hand-controlled Hyundai SUV.

His car has been adapted with hand controls that allow him to accelerate and apply the brakes from the side of his steering wheel.
