Socrate Safo gives solid reasons why Shatta Wale should win Artiste of the Decade
Many entertainment pundits have tipped their favorite musician for the Artiste of the Decade categoryin the upcoming 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Some music industry players have made their choice concerning the musician to emerge as Artiste of the Decade at the upcoming VGMAs.
According to movie producer and entertainment pundit Socrates Sarfo, popular dancehall artiste Shatta Wale deserves to win the Artiste of the Decade award.

In a comment he made on Accra-based radio station Peace FM, Socrates expressed his opinion on the much-anticipated category.
He noted that per the definition of the category, Shatta Wale comes top over other competitors to emerge as the winner.
"I think that influential artist like Shatta Wale has been previously robbed of one key category which is the artist of the year," he stated.
"Per the definition of artiste of the decade, if you look at the definition and relevance of the artists, Shatta stands poles apart from all the nominees there," he added.
Socrates further noted that even though a lot of people are routing for rapper Sarkodie to win that category, Shatta Wale deserves it most.
Meanwhile, former manager of Shatta Wale, Bulldogg, has also tipped the 'My Level' hitmaker to win the Artiste of the Decade.

According to him, Shatta Wale has been very instrumental than all other artistes within the 10 years of review.
Shatta Wale is competing with Samini, Efya, Sarkodie, Becca, Okyeame Kwame, Joe Mettle, No Tribe and Nacee, Stonebwoy and R2Bees for the ultimate award.
This is the first time the Artiste of the Decade category has been included in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Since the scheme is celebrating 20 years of its existence, Charterhouse decided to award an artiste who has been tremendous in the last decade of the award from 2009 - 2019.
All artistes in the category have thrilled Ghanaians with hit songs in the last decade, making each of them a possible winners.
