Italian-born Ghanaian Mario Balotelli has stirred a controversy following his latest post on social media.
Mario Balottelli has acknowledged dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy and rapper Sarkodie in his Africa solidarity comment snubbing Shatta Wale.
In the said post, Balotteli tagged a host of Africa celebrities with Ghanaian musicians Sarkodie and Stonebwoy being part.
According to him, various world leaders are sabotaging the progress of Africa, and he used his prominent stature to blast them.
Other icons tagged were Didier Drogba, Aubameyang, Samuel Eto’o, Michael Essien and Kevin Prince Boateng.
Balotelli was born to two Ghanaian immigrants in Italy and was adopted by Italian parents.
He had the chance to play for either the Black Stars of Ghana or the Azurri of Italy, but he picked the European giants over the West African side.
But despite choosing Italy over Ghana, Balotelli has supported the Black Stars in major football tournaments.

The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is slated to come off on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
This year's edition happens to be special as it coincides with the 20th-anniversary celebrations of the award.
As part of the activities leading to the main event on Saturday night, a private dinner was held for nominees in the artiste-based categories.
The dinner which was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra had nominees for the Artiste of the Decade award and others attending.
