Adom FM's Captain Smart has got Ghanaians after he made certain comment concerning the deadly HIV/AIDS disease.
Captain Smart has made some controversial comment concerning one of world's most deadly diseases AIDS.
According to the seasoned broadcaster, he does not believe that AIDS is a real disease that could make people lose their lives.
Speaking on Accra based radio station Hitz FM, Captain Smart expressed his opinion about HIV/AIDS.
"Personally, with all respect to the American doctors and those in the medical fraternity, I don’t believe in HIV AIDS," he said.
"My producers will tell you. When you read more about some of these things you will have a different opinion," he added.
Captain Smart however did not mention the document he read concerning HIV/AIDS that brought about his disbelief.
"Sometimes we don’t say it because we belong to the minority. The larger population that believes in the disease that it graduates and that there is a virus called HIV," he claimed.
"I may have some belief in the virus but the disease called AIDS, respectfully, I don’t believe in it,” he stressed.
The comment has got some Ghanaians jabbing the radio host as they claim HIV/AIDS is real and deadly.
Meanwhile this is not the first time Captain Smart has been in the news for very controversial reasons.
He is known to have had some relationship problems with his former wife Afia Pokuaa which led to their separation.
After the divorce, YEN.com.gh published a story as Captain Smart revealed reasons why he decided to leave Afia Pokua.
According to Captain Smart, who was alleged to have snatched Afia Pokuaa from her husband said, he made the decision to leave her because Ghanaians have tagged him as wife snatcher.
Months later, the controversial radio host got married to a Ghanaian lady based in the United States of America.
Captain Smart, real name Blessed Nana Godsbrain Smart and Cynthia Boamah got married during a beautiful traditional wedding held in Dansoman, Accra.
