Don’t play with a lion - Shatta Wale says after fighting Stonebwoy at 2019 VGMA
- Shatta Wale has called himself a lion saying he should not be played with
- This comes after a fight broke out at the just ended 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
- He had stormed the stage when Stonebwoy was speaking leading to chaos
Controversial musician Shatta Wale is making headlines again for the wrong reason.
He has referred to himself as a lion which must not be toyed with.
Shatta Wale made this comment on Twitter shortly after a fight broke out between him and Stonebwoy and their fans.

He wrote that a lion as he is, he dislikes to smell blood.
A common phrase used to show how desperate one is to make reciprocal attacks.
It also mean that, like a lion, he would attack his attackers and ensure to overcome them.
Shatta Wale wrote: “Don’t play with a lion like that ...He dislikes to smell blood !!!”

He had stormed the stage when Stonebwoy was making a remark after he was announced as the Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
While Shatta Wale walked onto the stage, Stonebwoy’s fans interpreted it to mean an attack, and so quickly, they attacked Shatta Wale.
Following this, Shatta Wale fans also jumped onto the stage to defend him, leading to a very chaotic scene.

Stonebwoy, perhaps in an attempt to defend himself pulled a gun, and latest information have it that he has been arrested.

Also, the full list of the 2019 VGMA award winners has been released with two of the awards being on hold.
The awards are Artiste of the Year, and Most Popular Song of the Year.
These awards have been widely speculated to be won by Shatta Wale, however, they are being withheld following the chaos which broke out at the event.
