The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George, has praised Stonebwoy for standing up to Shatta Wale during Saturday, May 18, 2019's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
According to him, the 'Shuga’ hitmaker was right to defend himself from a bully and an aggressor like Shatta Wale.
The 20th edition of the much anticipated VGMA was marred following a brawl between the two dancehall artistes on stage.
Ghanaians on social media have condemned both artistes, with many describing their actions as immature and disgraceful.
However, Sam George believes Stonebwoy was right to defend himself, adding that he is proud of the Bhim Nation boss.
In a Facebook post, the legislator wrote: "Proud of you Stonebwoy. People always never understand when you stand up to bullies or the aggressor.
“They always end up blaming you for defending yourself or anticipating an attack. Big ups to your Team for holding you down. Still keep it tight Bro.
“Its #BHIM to da World! #Baafira.”
Meanwhile, reports suggest both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are currently in police custody to assist with investigations.
