WAEC releases results of 2019 private BECE

- WAEC has released the results of the 2019 BECE online

- It stated that no case of exam malpractice was recorded

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that the result of the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for private candidates has been released.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has posted the results online for candidates to access.

According to the head of public affairs for WAEC, Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, no case of examination malpractice was recorded.

Per a report by Myjoyonline.com, 2,573 candidates, made up of 1,602 males and 971 females, sat for the examination.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the 2019 BECE exam would be written from June 10 to June 14, 2019.

This was contained in a circular released by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to all Junior High Schools (JHSs), which encouraged all schools to prepare their students for the examination.
