BET International, organizers of the popular BET Awards have commended rapper Sarkodie for his achievement at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Organizers of BET Awards have heaped praise on popular Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie for winning one of the most talked about awards at the 2019 VGMAs.
According to the organizers, Sarkodie has done well by emerging winner of the 'Artiste of the Decade' category.
In a post that was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of BET International, the scheme expressed their joy in Sarkodie's success.
"Our #MCM has been crowned the ‘Artiste of the Decade’ at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards! Congrats @sarkodie #MusicMonday," they wrote.
BET International revealed they are crushing on Sarkodie on the Monday after the VGMA event which was held on Saturday, May 18, 2019.

Meanwhile, a representative of BET International was present at the night of the VGMA grand event held at the Dome of the AICC in Accra on May 18, 2019.
Sarkodie came out top over contenders including Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Becca, Efya, R2Bees among others to win the accolade.
Many entertainment pundits had tipped Samini to win the award but Sarkodie emerged the winner.
It was justified by some industry players that Sarkodie has been relevant in the music industry over the decade than Samini.
Records show that Sarkodie has won over 80 awards nationally and internationally, making him one of the top musicians in Africa.
