Countryman Songo backs Shatta Wale's action that resulted in VGMA brouhaha
Popular sports presenter Patrick Osei-Agyemang affectionately called Countryman Songo has waded into the 2019 VGMA brouhaha.
Host of popular sports show 'Fire for Fire' Countryman Songo has backed Shatta Wale concerning the recent fracas with fellow dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
According to the controversial presenter, Shatta Wale did no wrong mounting the stage at that moment.

In an interview on Accra based radio station Asempa FM, Countryman Songo expressed his opinion about the feud that occurred at the VGMA.
He noted that Stonebwoy is to be blamed for the incident as Shatta Wale did no wrong going on stage with his team.
Countryman Songo backed Shatta Wale's explanation that he went on stage to congratulate his arch rival.
"It is normal for people to join an artiste on stage when he is receiving an award," the sports journalist stressed.
He provided an instance where he saw unknown faces joining him on stage as he won an award at the GJA awards.
Countryman Songo described Shatta Wale's action as a non-threatening one that should not have triggered such a string encounter from Stonebwoy.
He backed Shatta Wale's actions and jabbed Stonebwoy for pulling a gun in reaction to what had transpired.
"Was Shatta Wale coming to kill Stonebwoy on stage?, was he coming to assault him or what? I don't know why Stonebwoy felt threatened," he jabbed.

Countryman Songo's comments followed a feud that occurred between popular dancehall musicians Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
At the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy brought the event to a halt after the two had some misunderstanding.
The misunderstanding began after Shatta Wale stood up to go on stage at a time his rival Stonebwoy was receiving an award on stage.
Stonebwoy had been awarded as Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year but his acceptance speech got halted when he saw Shatta Wale and his entourage coming towards the stage.
In response, Stonebwoy was given a gun by his bodyguard as his manager also threw blows at Shatta Wale and his team.
The issue which got the entire country talking as most people are divided, throwing their support behind each of the artistes.
