Father of late Ghanaian music Ebony has waded into the recent brouhaha that occurred at the 2019 VGMA.
Starboy Kwarteng has jabbed organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards concerning the feud between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
According to him, Charterhouse disrespected her daughter Ebony, a reason the feud occurred on the awards night.
In a series of messages he wrote on his What's App status, Starboy Kwarteng expressed his sentiments about the VGMA fracas.
He noted that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy should not be blamed for the incident which brought the event into some disrepute.
Starboy Kwarteng claimed that Ebony's spirit is angry with Charterhouse for not inviting him (Starboy Kwarteng) to the awards event.
He jabbed Charterhouse as he stressed that since Ebony was the 'Artiste of the Year' in 2018, it would have been appropriate to have him attend the event officially.
Ebony's father warned Charterhouse not to joke with her late daughter because her spirit is still powerful.
He further threatened that if Ebony is not acknowledged well, none of Charterhouse events will end successfully.
He bragged that whether they like it or not, Ebony Reigns is still reigning as the ‘Artist of the Year’.
Starboy Kwarteng's comment followed a feud that occurred at the between dancehall musicians Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
The feud began after Shatta Wale walked up to stage when his arch rival Stonebwoy was receiving his award.
After Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of Reggae/Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale stood up with team to go on stage.
His move was misunderstood by Stonebwoy's team resulting in a scuffle that brought the event to a halt for about twenty minutes.
The incident has got Ghanaians talking with many condemning the two artistes for not comporting themselves.
