Popular Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste Samini known in real life as Emmanuel Andrew Samini has shaded fellow musician Shatta Wale.
Samini has quietly jabbed Shatta Wale in a recent comment concerning artistes performing with live band.
According to the 'Obaa' hitmaker, artistes who do not perform with live band are not complete artistes.
In an interview with Accra-based radio station Joy FM, Samini expressed his opinion concerning performance by musicians.
Even though the Highgrade Family boss did not mention Shatta Wale's name, his comments were said to be a jab directed at the self-proclaiming king of African dancehall.
This was because Shatta Wale is a contender who falls into the category that Samini described as incomplete musicians.
"If you’re performing and you have your recorded voice playing and your microphone acting like you are performing, it’s either you are a fraud or doing karaoke," he stated.
Samini further jabbed as he said "You are not a complete musician if you cannot perform your music live."
Shatta Wale is known to be one of the Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artistes who does not perform with live band.
On stage, the 'My Level' hitmaker performs by getting his song played while holding the microphone and singing along.
It seems Samini does not regard such artistes like Shatta Wale and others who sing along on their songs on stage.
Samini's comment does not come as a surprise to many since the controversial dancehall king is currently having a brawl with Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy has been Samini's 'boy' over the years so it is normal that he will throw his support behind the 'Kpoo Keke' hitmaker.
Meanwhile, Samini was regarded as the 'hero' at the just ended VGMA as he thrilled patrons with a brilliant performance.
After the scuffle between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy on stage, Samini who performed right after won the accolades of Ghanaians for advising both feuding musicians.
