The Eastern regional minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour, has asked that residents in the Krobo area who do not pay electricity bills should be taken off the national grid.
According to him, the only thing the people can enjoy free is the Free Senior High School (SHS) education, and not electricity.
He added that the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) is having a meeting with stakeholders to determine the next course of action.

According to a report by Kasapafmonline.com, REGSEC earlier held a meeting with the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC), which was chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Lower Manya Krobo, Simon Kwaku Tetteh.
