On-air personality Nana Aba Anamoah is not happy with President Akufo-Addo.
Nana Aba Anamoah has taken a strong swipe at Akufo-Addo over Asamoah Gyan’s retirement brouhaha.
She took to Twitter to send a special message to Akufo-Addo over how he quickly reacted to issues of no interest on the economic growth of Ghana.

She drawn the president’s attention to the hungry masses same way he worked on Gyan’s retirement brouhaha with the Black Stars.
“We appreciate the President’s intervention but can he intervene for the many young men and women who have no idea where their next meal will come from? Can the president intervene for homeless Ghanaians? Asamoah Gyan’s decision has no impact on economic growth.” she opined.
On Monday, May 20, 2019, Gyan announced his retirement from the national team.

However, On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Akufo-Addo stepped in as he spoke on phone with Gyan and Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, Gyan rescinded his decision following Akufo-Addo’s call and he has been included in the team’s 29-man provisional squad for the 2019 AFCON.
