Robin Van Persie unable to decide better manager between Arsene Wenger, Alex Ferguson

Robin Van Persie's illustrious football career afforded him a rare opportunity of playing under two of the world's greatest managers.

His career saw him represent Feyenoord, Arsenal, Manchester United and Fenerbahce, and recently had plenty to mull over during an interview with BBC.

The Dutchman arrived in England for less than £3million, signing for Arsenal under former boss, Arsene Wenger.

He went on to establish himself as one of the best forwards in his generation with the Gunners, before sealing a sensational move to Manchester United in 2012.

The move granted him the chance to lift his only Premier League title with the Red Devils under Sir Alex Ferguson.

But when it came down to choosing who between Wenger and Ferguson was the best, the 35-year-old remained tight-lipped as he could not settle on one.

He, however, went on to thank both managers for the opportunities that cemented his place as one of Premier League's finest strikers.

Robin scored 132 times for Arsenal in 278 appearances, and 58 in 102 matches at Manchester United.

The former Netherlands international brought the curtain down on his 18-year career at the end of the 2018/19 season at Feyenoord.

Meanwhile, Yen.com.gh had reported that Robin van Persie has finally apologised to Arsenal fans who were left heartbroken following his decision to dump the Gunners for Manchester United in 2012.

Having arrived at Emirates from Dutch side, Rotterdam, for less than £3million, Van Persie beat all odds to establish himself as one of the finest footballers of his generation.
