Shatta Wale has attained higher success once again after his 'Island' song tops other songs in Africa.
According to the music video countdown by Soundcity Africa, Shatta Wale's 'Island' is number one on the chart.
In a video that the self-proclaiming king of African dancehall posted on his Instagram page, the 'Island' video was seen playing as the number one video on Soundcity Africa TV.
Shatta Wale who could not hide his joy at the achievement wrote "Thank you @soundcityafrica #Island 1. Thank you Africa"

Island which was released about two months ago was applauded by music lovers as one of Shatta Wale's best songs.
After he posted a snippet of the lyrics video on his Instagram page, top Jamaican dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel who is in jail at the moment commented.
According to Vybz Kartel, the song is a nice dancehall music that is of standard like other songs from Jamaica.
Shatta Wale is said to be Africa's number one dancehall musician as he has thrilled fans to the best of dancehall music over the years.
Just recently, The 'My Level' hitmaker won two awards at the International Reggae And World Music Awards.
