Sarkodie names Obrafour as his favourite rapper; sends touching message to him

Popular Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has wrote a long piece to celebrate Obrafour concerning his 20 years of making music.

Sarkodie has showered praises on popular rapper Obrafour in relation to his upcoming 20 years celebration.

According to the 'Can't Let You Go' hitmaker, Obrafour is his favorite musician and rapper of all time.

In a post that was sighted by, Sarkodie took to Twitter to express his admiration for the legendary musician.

"I call him my godfather cos he guard me through this journey called music without him even knowing," he wrote.

"His legacy gave me the urge to push harder. He has been my favorite rapper/musician for lord knows how long," he added.

Sarkodie went on to state that he is more than a fan of Obrafour, making him pinch himself anytime he is with the veteran musician.

The Sarkcess Music boss who seemed emotional thanked Obrafour for his assistance throughout his musical career.

"God bless you Mr. Michael (my name sake). You played a major role in getting me here and I will never forget," he admitted.

"I hope I still make you proud and sorry in advance if I should disappoint, please know your thoughts are very essential to me as your legacy is what guards me," he added.

Sarkodie's message followed the announcement that legend hiplife musician Obrafour will be celebrating 20 years of making music.

The news has sent a lot of joy as many artistes and music lovers are excited to celebrate the 'Pae Mu Ka' hitmaker.

Before the announcement, many entertainment pundits had asked that Obrafour be celebrated since he is a legend in Ghanaian music.

Since 1999, Obrafour has thrilled Ghanaians to great hiplife music, making him one of Ghana's most respected artistes.
