Reigning WWE World Champion, Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, popularly known as Kofi Kingston, has revealed how his mother helped Akufo-Addo.
Kofi Kingston has disclosed how his mother helped President Akufo-Addo’s campaign.
The renowned wrestler was asked how he intends to promote women sports to the president.
However, in responding to the aforementioned question, he said: "I like what he has been doing in terms of unifying people.
"My mom had a lot to do with the promotion of his campaign.
"So I am just looking at going and having a conversation with him and I don't know what we are going to talk about but if that comes up, I am sure he knows that promoting women sports is very important."
On Thursday, May 30, 2019, Kofi landed in Ghana for the first time since 1993 and he was given a hero’s welcome.
Kofi was born in Kumasi but moved to the United States of America (USA) at a very tender age, where he started his wrestling career.
Kofi first won the WWE belt when he defied all odds to reign supreme over Daniel Bryan on March 7, 2019.
