Ghanaian rapper Medikal known in real life as Samuel Adu Frimpong has landed his first movie role in Kumawood.
Medikal is moving into a different career as he has landed his first movie role in a Kumawood movies.
According to the rapper, it is possible that he will star in a Kumawood movie soon which will feature his girlfriend Fella Makafui.
In a video that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Medikal expressed his experience about movie acting and possibility of starring in more movies.
“My best friend is Lilwin and he is in Kumawood so yeah Lilwin and I will star in a Kumawood movie soon and we'll feature Fella Makafui,” he said.
The ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker further talked about his experience acting for the first time in the ‘Sugar’ movie.
He noted that it was awesome acting for the first time, claiming that might not be his last time since he is versatile.
“Yeah, that's my first time playing a movie role and Fella Makafui is coaching me so yeah anything is possible,” he added.
Medikal revealed that he was featured on the Kidi’s ‘Sugar’ album and he urged people to patronize it since it was the first of its kind.
Meanwhile, the rapper was in the news recently after going on a date with his girlfriend Fella Makafui amid reports of their break-up.
The rumours were deepened during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) when Fella failed to attend the event with Medikal.
Moreover, Medikal failed to acknowledge Fella during his speech after winning two awards on the night.
While these reasons could be ignored, it was made a big deal because of the way Fella and Medikal acted on social media.
Also, the fact that the two had not been spotted together in public in a while rose eyebrows making people suspect that there was trouble in the relationship.
Not even Fella's message on Instagram congratulating Medikal could convince many people about the state of their love affair.
But it looked as those who had the break-up thoughts were wrong as the young couple were been spotted on a date night.
