John Dumelo donates stationery students at La-Bawaleshie Presby School

Actor and social activist, John Dumelo, is continuing his enormous work of philanthropy with a donation to the students at the La-Bawaleshie Primary School in East Legon, Accra.

Award-winning actor, United Nations ambassador and social activist, on June 3, 2019, donated mathematical sets to final year students of the La-Bawaleshie Presbyterian School in East Legon, Accra.

The final year students are soon going to sit for the nationwide Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). Thus the actor felt the need to offer practical and moral support.

Dumelo, who has in the last year or so increased the rate of his philanthropic work, is believed to be harnessing parliamentary ambitions come the general elections of 2020.

But the actor is yet to declare his intentions for 2020 although he has publicly acknowledged his political ambitions on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

But no politics could be sensed in the Twitter post of the actor when he announced his recent donation via his handle.

Dumelo wrote: "Earlier on this morning, I presented over 140 mathsets to the final year JHS students of the La Bawaleshie Presbyterian School, East Legon. The BECE starts next week and I hope this will encourage them to learn hard and pass. God bless them."
