- Stonebwoy has confessed that his VGMA ban was a hard time for him
- The musician said MUSIGA President Obuor’s comment made the case worse
- Stonebwoy has revealed that he and Shatta Wale would want to work with Charterhouse again if they should lift the ban
Stonebwoy has revealed that his being banned from contesting in the VGMA together with Shatta Wale was a trying time for him.
The musician added that he found the decision by Charterhouse to ban them as harsh and unfortunate.
The worse thing, Stonebwoy disclosed, was the remarks by the MUSIGA President Obuor, that the music industry could survive without Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Obuor was reacting to the ban and his comments show that he was in agreement with it.
However, Stonebwoy said he was hurt by Obuor’s comment, stressing that the comment came at a time that he was dealing with the VGMA ban.
Meanwhile, the Baafira hitmaker has said he and his brother Shatta Wale would consider to join the VGMA again if Charterhouse lifts the ban.
“We are professionals and we would want to work with people who want to work with us so if they lift the ban why not, we will cross it when we get there,” Stonebwoy said.
