Ghanaian Afro-pop singer Wendy Shay known in real life as Wendy Addo has shaded fellow musician Kelvynboy after the musician shun her recently.
After a video of Kelvynboy shunning Wendy Shay at the peace press conference went viral, Wendy Shay has jabbed the 'Afrobeats' hitmaker.
According to Wendy Shay, her reaction to the incident is more important than what happened to her.
In an Instagram post sighted by YEN.com.gh, the 'Uber Driver' hitmaker secretly jabbed Kelvynboy.
"Life is 10 percent of what happens to us and 90 percent how we react to it," Wendy Shay wrote as a Happy Eid message.
Even though the singer did not mention Kelvynboy's name, it is evident that she is shading the Burniton Music Group artiste.
Wendy Shay and Kelvyn are the new 'talk-of-town' after the incident that occurred at the Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy peace press conference.
After the press conference ended, Kelvynboy was invited to join Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi, Bullet and Wendy Shay on stage.
While Kelvynboy climbed the podium, he greeted everyone with a hand-shake except Wendy Shay who had actually wanted to hug Kelvynboy.
The incident which was captured on tape of one of the bloggers went viral minutes after it happened.
Many Ghanaians slammed Kelvynboy for his attitude towards the singer, claiming that he is not in good terms with her.
Other music lovers alleged that Kelvynboy is angry with Wendy Shay because she emerged winner of VGMA New Artiste of the Year, a category that Kelvynboy also contested in.
Meanwhile, Kelvynboy has denied allegations that he intentionally shun Wendy Shay at the press conference.
In an interview, Kelvynboy explained circumstances leading to the alleged shun as he claimed that it was not intentional and consequently apologized.
After Kelvynboy's explanation, Wendy Shay has not come out to accept the apology nor has she said anything clear on the brouhaha.
