Man beats up girlfriend and removes her wig after she rejected his public proposal (video)

In recent times, public proposals between young couples have become quite common.

Not a week passes without one seeing a video or hearing of a public proposal happening on social media.

While it may be romantic and appealing, not all those who engage in such acts get the happy ending they anticipated.

One such unhappy ending has happened leading a man to seriously his girlfriend after she rejected his public proposal.

In a video sighted by, the yet-to-be-identified man was seen on his knees making his proposal.

The girlfriend looked disinterested and did not show any of the surprise behaviours that characterise these proposal saying "I don't want to marry you."

After some time, the guy got up and tried to persuade his lady to accept the ring he was giving but she refused.

When he realised his proposal had gone wrong, he decided to physically assault the woman.

As if the beatings were not enough, the guy went ahead to embarrassingly remove the wig of the lady.

Not even the pleas of some people around the incident could dissuade the angry boyfriend from the attack.

It is not known exactly where the incident happened but from their accent, it looks like they are Nigerians.
